LAAC Awards of Merit

What better way to celebrate another year of hard work than with a toast to all of the legal services community's successes! LAAC's Annual Awards of Merit and Awards Reception offers a unique opportunity to recognize the importance of legal services and court personnel and to particularly honor a few of the many members who have made special contributions to the field over the last year.

Award Categories: In 2008, LAAC will present a total of SEVEN awards, one in each of the categories below:

1.Attorney
2.Paralegal or Community Worker
3.Support Staff
4.Individual Volunteer
5.Board Member for a legal services program
6.Client of a legal services program engaged in advocacy or assistance to the program
7.Joint Award with the Access to Justice Commission! Staff of a trial or appellate level court program (excluding bench officers).
