LAAC Membership Information
Organizational Membership
Membership is open to IOLTA-funded nonprofit organizations with an office in California whose primary purpose is to provide free, direct civil legal services to those who are indigent. This includes the provision of support services to programs that deliver direct civil legal services.
We welcome your active participation in LAAC's membership and work in 2011. LAAC offers a 10% discount for new organizational members. To learn more about how your organization can join LAAC, contact Salena Copeland.
Organizational Benefits
- Vote in LAAC Board elections and other matters affecting legal services;
- Staff are eligible to serve on the LAAC Board of Directors;
- All new discounts on telephone language interpretation through Ethnic Bridge! Ethnic Bridge provides on-demand, over-the-phone, live translators for all your language translation needs. There are nearly 170 languages available, with translators at hand 24 hours a day. The currently negotiated LAAC rate with Ethnic Bridge is $1.50/minute, a significant discount compared to similar companies that charge almost $4/minute.

Individual Support
LAAC welcomes the support of individuals, whether staff at a LAAC member program or any of our court and outside partners! Your individual donation goes to support much of LAAC's advocacy work and towards the Dan Bradley Summer Fellowships for law students.
