You are invited to register for a day-long training sponsored by CIPC for service providers, immigrant advocates, and others who work with immigrants in California. Come learn from, and strategize with experts and peers about current issues, including health care, language access, immigration law and enforcement issues, media messaging, assistance to domestic violence and trafficking survivors, and more.
In addition to a summary of state and federal issues of concern to immigrant communities in California there will be workshops on the following topics:

* Assisting Survivors of Domestic Violence and Trafficking
* Overcoming Barriers to obtaining health care services - best practices
* Immigration Law and Enforcement Issues
* Immigrant Issues in the Media - basic skills and preparing clients
* Language Access Issues
