(UCCJEA)

This program is open only to non-profit legal services, government and domestic violence programs and their volunteers. Space is limited, preference will be given to attorneys, staff and volunteers of HBCFL and LAFLA.

Topics Covered Will Include;

Understanding the basics of UCCJEA
Emergency jurisdiction for domestic violence victims
Benefits brought by passage of UCCJEA (vs.UCCJA and PKPA)
Enforcement of non-Hague orders
Inconvenient forum analysis
