New Housing Protections for Domestic Violence Survivors

This session will discuss California's new law permitting survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking to break their rental leases without financial penalty. We will also cover the latest updates in housing protections for victims under the Violence Against Women Act and fair housing laws. All advocates practicing housing law or working with clients who have experienced abuse will find this session helpful.
