This webinar will focus on all things POLST. We will review the legislative history of the POLST and the statutes that govern its use. We will closely examine the POLST form that is now being used statewide. Then, we will turn our attention to the POLST in practice, focusing on the proper role of the form among the other forms of advance health care planning and how POLSTs have been implemented in various health care settings. Particular attention will be paid to some of the perceived problems with POLST and its governing statutes.
