The Introductory Course will focus on the laws protecting consumers from abusive debt collection practices and proceed to more in-depth sessions on developing fair debt collection cases and a fair debt collection law practice. This training is only for NACA members, NACBA members with practices limited to consumer cases, assistant attorneys general, and legal aid lawyers who may litigate against debt collectors. Attached is the agenda.
ARRIVE EARLY!
On Thursday, March 4 there is going to be a golf outing at 2pm with conference attendees. We are still finalizing the details but know that it will be at an excellent facility that will be a treat to play. This is a great opportunity to network and friend attorneys in the consumer advocate field. Stay tuned for more details about this.
LEAVE LATE!
On Sunday morning, March 7 there will be an outing to St. Augustine which is a 45 minute bus ride from the Jacksonville hotel. During this outing you will be able to see the oldest port in America as well as have time for a quick bite to eat. Afterwards the bus will be taking everyone on the tour to the Jacksonville airport to catch your plane. Plan to be dropped off at the airport around 2pm. More details will be sent out about this, please email Jhiemenz@nclc.org if you want to sign-up. We aren't certain of the costs yet but probably around $30/person.
If you have any questions, please email Conference@nclc.org. We look forward to seeing you in Jacksonville!
