CANHR Online Training Series: Medi-Cal Updates and Medi-Cal Recovery

This training will include 2010 Medi-Cal updates and a review of Medi-Cal estate recovery issues, including the individuals and assets exempt from estate claims, hardship waivers and appeals and how to avoid Medi-Cal claims in the first place.

CANHR is offering a series of five (5) on-line trainings, covering 2010 updates, Medi-Cal Recovery, the basics of long term care Medi-Cal, Special Needs Trusts and Transfers, with a focus on spouse to spouse transfers. All you need to do is have a computer with Internet access and a telephone available at the time of the training. The call-in line is toll-free and there is no need to download any programs or software. Power Points will be sent to you prior to the training.

If you are a "beginner" in the Medi-Cal planning arena - the Medi-Cal sessions are for you, too. If you have forgotten more than you know about Medi-Cal - these sessions are also for you. 1.5 units of MCLE are available for each session, for a total of 7.5 MCLE credits if you sign up for all five sessions.

Time: All trainings will be on Wednesdays, and run from 12:00-1:30

Cost: The cost of each training is $50; $200 if you sign up for all five sessions. 10% discount for Net subscribers.
