This webinar is a joint partnership between LAAC and the Sargent Shriver National Center of Poverty Law's CLEARINGHOUSE REVIEW.

Designed for legal aid attorneys working with lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) seniors, this webinar will cover strategies for effectively advocating on behalf of LGBT clients and will address estate planning and other legal approaches to maximizing relationship recognition and family protection for LGBT clients.

PRESENTERS: Lisa J. Cisneros, Staff Attorney/Program Manager, Proyecto Poderoso, a joint project with the California Rural Legal Assistance and the National Center for Lesbian Rights, and Kimberley Dayton, Professor of Law and Director, Center for Elder Justice and Policy, William Mitchell College of Law.

Webinar attendees will receive complimentary copies of two recent CLEARINGHOUSE REVIEW articles on the legal needs of LGBT clients. This webinar is part of LAAC's Armchair Training webinar series on issues affecting older Americans.
