Education Law Training: CLE Credit

The Public Law Center (PLC) is pleased to announce an initiative in the area of Education Law, with an emphasis on special education and disciplinary issues. In order to expand our capacity to assist clients seeking this type of assistance, PLC has organized a six CLE credit training which is free to attorneys willing to take at least one learning disabled/special needs child case pro bono from PLC within one year of the training.

Register for this training and learn from experienced professionals how the right to a free and appropriate public education is intertwined with juvenile and family law, the due process system, procedural safeguards, the benefits of early intervention, the numerous agencies involved, and how to provide a valuable service to your community and add to your existing practice. Involve yourself with an area of law that can benefit society for generations to come.

2. Thursday, September 23, 2010: Registration at 5:30 PM and Program from 6-9:15PM

**PLEASE NOTE THAT REGISTRANTS MUST ATTEND BOTH DATES OF THE TRAINING.**

LOCATION:
The training will be held UC Irvine School of Law, who has graciously donated space for both evenings of the training. A light meal will be served both evenings. Details regarding parking and the exact room for the training will be sent in a separate confirmation e-mail to registrants.
