The Impact Fund has an opening for an experienced paralegal to start August 4, 2008. The Impact Fund is a nationally recognized public interest non-profit law firm in Berkeley that specializes in complex and class action litigation. The Impact Fund is lead counsel in the gender discrimination lawsuit, Dukes v. Wal-Mart Stores, the largest civil rights class action in history. Job responsibilities include assisting with class action litigation as well as with training programs and conferences presented by The Impact Fund. Position requires a bachelor's degree and/or a paralegal certificate and a minimum of one year legal experience, preferably on complex litigation. Candidate should have excellent organizational and writing skills, strong computer skills and a commitment to social justice.
