This program will present an overview of the nuts and bolts of the IHSS program, a program that allowed frail seniors and individuals to remain at home and avoid institutionalization. We will provide an overview of basic eligibility requirements, notices and procedures. No background with IHSS is needed. All advocates working with senior and disabled populations will find this session helpful.
