Presenters:Catherine Bishop, National Housing Law Project; Lynn Martinez, Western Center on Law & Poverty

California advocates are representing tenants who are threatened with eviction due to foreclosures. This session will discuss procedural and substantive defenses that advocates may raise on behalf of tenants, including voucher tenants. In addition, we will discuss local policy advocacy on issues to assist renters to remain in their homes post foreclosure.

This session is approved for ONE hour MCLE self-study credit.
