Many legal services attorneys and paralegals are experts in the substantive areas of the law in which they specialize, but don't always give due consideration to the constitutional rights of their clients. This training session will examine due process and equal protection in representing low-income clients. These key constitutional principles are often useful in negotiations with government agencies, as well as in adversarial administrative and judicial proceedings.
Presenters: Peter Schey and Carlos Holguin, Center for Human Rights and Constitutional Law
