This webinar will discuss the disparate issues faced by legal services programs when assisting clients in conservatorship matters. One half of the training will address the assistance of conservators, from completing their paperwork to handling potential barriers such as bond, accountings, and incensed family members. This half of the presentation will also discuss the potential use of legal clinics to provide high volume services to conservators. The second half of the webinar will address the challenges of representing conservatees, from a brief discussion of the implicated ethical issues to vigorous defense strategies.
