The following are advocacy opportunities and collaborations related to language access.
National Legal Language Advocacy Network (N-LAAN). A national listserv with monthly calls and subgroups working on courts, housing, health, income, etc. Contact: jlee@lafla.org. N-LAAN provides a library of resources on its website: http://www.probono.net/nlaan/about/.

Medicare Legal Language Access Coalition. Contact: oakland@nsclc.org.
Medicare Open Enrollment Language Access Project: The group is working on gathering advertising by private Medicare plans in various languages to show CMS the importance of translated plan documents for heavily recruited LEP populations. Please help gather materials that you or your clients encounter. Contact: khsiao@nsclc.org.
