This document should be read in conjunction with the evaluation tool kit developed for the program owned evaluation component of the California evaluation process. The tool kit describes in some detail how various evaluation methodologies can be used for evaluation by a program of itself or of one of its projects. The examples given in the tool kit are primarily focused on individual services provided by legal services programs. The tools, however, are applicable to support and impact activities as well, and the following sets forth a variety of ways in which the tools might be used for that purpose.
The charts list support and impact activities. They identify specific ways the various tools might apply to each activity, and then in two separate charts provide sample objectives and evaluation questions for each. The charts are very much a work in progress, and suggestions for enlarging or improving them are encouraged.
