Dear IOLTA Executive Directors:

Stephanie Choy of the Legal Services Trust Fund Program has requested that legal services organizations submit letters in support of the proposed revisions to the IOLTA Rules. The proposed draft has been submitted to the Board of Governors, and Stephanie has asked programs to submit support letters by next Tuesday, February 3, 2009.

The draft rules are responsive to all of the concerns that LAAC raised on behalf of programs during this process. We are pleased with the outcome, and we have submitted a short letter thanking the Trust Fund Program for the inclusive process and supporting the changes.

Although the original Public Comment deadline was January 19, please note that Stephanie has asked programs to submit letters by February 3.
