Support Letters for AB 3050 (Jones)
DEADLINE: Friday, September 12th
Dear IOLTA-funded Programs/LAAC Members:
AB 3050 has been passed by the legislature. This bill would help prevent fraudulent misuse of the term "legal aid," as well as create a working group and a small pilot project to provide interpreters to parties who cannot afford a private interpreter in important civil cases.
LAAC strongly supports this bill, and we urge IOLTA-funded programs to submit letters of support!
