Op-eds are an incredibly effective means of educating and influencing a large number of people and policymakers. They give you the opportunity to expound on a timely issue and present a compelling argument. But the competition is tough-most papers receive hundreds of submissions each day. As a USC law professor, however, you are in a unique position to be an informed legal expert on any number of local and national issues. Here are some tips to make your op-eds stand out, get noticed and get published.
