AB 2301 and AB 2302 passed out of the Assembly Judiciary Committee

On April 4th both AB 2301 and AB 2302 passed out of the Assembly Judiciary Committee, with AB 2301 going back for its second reading and 2302 going to the Assembly Appropriations Committee.
AB 2301 (Jones) would specifically authorize the State Bar to collect, in conjunction with its annual Bar dues collection or otherwise, voluntary financial contributions for legal services

AB 2302 (Judiciary), would provide court interpreters for parties in most civil matters and waive the interpreter fees for indigent parties.
