AB 2301 has moved out of the Assembly Judiciary Committee and will be heard in the Senate Judiciary Committee, probably in June.

AB 2301 (Jones) would specifically authorize the State Bar to collect, in conjunction with its annual Bar dues collection or otherwise, voluntary financial contributions for legal services
