The Impact Fund: Advancement of Social Justice

Deadline: Pre-application due August 30, 2006

The Impact Fund awards grants to nonprofits and private firms who seek to advance social justice in the areas of civil and human rights, environmental justice, and poverty law. Grants are awarded for large and complex litigation, such as class actions where there has been a showing of financial necessity. The maximum grant to a grantee per year is $25,000, with $10,000 being the average size. Applications are by request only.
