The Race Equity Project
A Special Project of Legal Services of Northern California

Launch Notice (November 29, 2006)

On November 29, 2006, Legal Services of Northern California launched the website for the Race Equity Project (REP).

We designed the REP to fulfill two needs. First, we hope that the REP's effort to digest, implement, evaluate and disseminate race-based advocacy resources will facilitate a more efficient and effective delivery of race-based advocacy. Second, we hope that interested individuals will use the site as a forum to share their knowledge on and experiences with race-based advocacy. Sharing resources is critical to maximizing our collective impact, and varied input and broad-based engagement will determine the success of the project for race equity.

We hope that you will take a moment and visit the Race Equity Project. Equally important, we hope that you will share your experiences and insights so that we can continue to learn and evolve from our collective efforts.

The Race Equity Project is a special collaborative project of
Legal Services of Northern California, Inc.
