The California Immigrant Policy Center, formerly the California Immigrant Welfare Collaborative, is a non-partisan, non-profit statewide organization founded in 1996. The Policy Center seeks to inform public debate and policy decisions on issues affecting the state's immigrants and their families in order to improve the quality of life for all Californians.
The mission of the California Immigrant Policy Center is to protect and enhance the well-being of low-income immigrants in California by advocating for policies that address and respect the needs and contributions of immigrants and their families. The California Immigrant Policy Center provides research, trainings, and public education on immigrant issues affecting all Californians. The California Immigrant Policy Center, a non-profit organization, is a project of the Asian Pacific American Legal Center, the National Immigration Law Center, the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles, and Services, Immigrant Rights and Education Network (SIREN) of San Jose.
