Op-Ed: Sufficient Federal Funding for SCHIP

In an op-ed in the San Francisco Chronicle today, Jean Ross with the California Budget Project examines the importance of sufficient federal funding for SCHIP, the State Children's Health Insurance Program. One of California's low-cost health insurance programs for children, Healthy Families, depends on these funds to cover more than 770,000 low-income California children.
