Today the Social Security Administration issued a notice of proposed rulemaking to, among other things, establish some new procedures for the hearing process for both disability and non-disability matters, to amend the rules governing the final level of the administrative review process, and to limit the circumstances in which new evidence may be added to the record during the appeals process. Comments are due no later than 12/28/07. FR 61218.
