The ABA Center for Pro Bono presents the New Pro Bono Managers - Nuts & Bolts preconference each year at the Equal Justice Conference. This year's Nuts & Bolts training will take place on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Who should attend New Pro Bono Managers - Nuts & Bolts?
- New (in your position for one year or less) pro bono coordinators/managers
- Pro bono coordinators/managers desiring a refresher course on basic program concepts

- Program structure and governance
- Intake and placement procedures
- Maintaining a client-centered approach to service delivery
- Strategies for effectively managing and utilizing volunteers
- Ways to develop partnerships with the bar, bench, other providers of legal services and other organizations and groups

How long is the Nuts & Bolts training?
- The training is a full day, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
How much does Nuts & Bolts cost?
- Registration is $125 and includes breakfast and lunch. Registrants must also register for the full Equal Justice Conference.
