Monterey -- Michael Benoit, Executive Director of Legal Services for Seniors in Monterey County received the Legal Services Advocacy Award for 2008 at the annual Elder Law Conference and luncheon hosted by California Advocates for Nursing Home Reform on May 9, 2008.
The award was presented to Mr. Benoit for his dedication, commitment and vision in helping to shape a program that provides outstanding legal services advocacy to California’s elders. Mr. Benoit has spent his legal career in the legal services community. Legal Services for Seniors in Monterey County, under the direction of Michael Benoit, is an extraordinary program that has served the legal needs of Monterey County’s seniors for over 20 years.
