Your Future Paycheck: Minority Women and Retirement Income, a newly updated report by the Women's Institute for a Secure Retirement (WISER), in conjunction with Mothers' Voices Georgia, and MANA, A National Latina Organization, shows that poverty rates for minority women over age 65 remain disproportionately high, as compared to White women and men of all races. Poverty among the elderly has dropped dramatically in the last 25 years, but minority women are being left behind. This research report examines the underlying causes for the alarmingly high poverty trends for minority older women. The report can be found at http://www.wiserwomen.org/pdf_files/minoritywomen08.pdf
