HOPE II funding announcement

The U.S. Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) recently approved the funding
announcement for a third round of HOPE II funding. The goal of the HOPE
II grant is to create, expand, or improve victim services across the
country, through faith-based and/or community-based organizations
serving underserved crime victims in high-crime urban areas. The
Maryland Crime Victims' Resource Center, Inc. (MCVRC) manages the HOPE
II grant through a cooperative agreement with OVC.
A copy of the Request For Proposals may be downloaded from MCVRC's
website at www.mdcrimevictims.org. The website also has links to
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and the press release announcing the
grant.
The subaward period is six months from March 1 - August 31, 2009 and
each subaward amount is up to $50,000. The deadline to apply is
Wednesday, January 21st, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. EST. For more information
