Today Western Center on Law & Poverty and LAAC testified at the state Budget "Trigger" hearing, urging the Treasurer and Department of Finance to "trigger off" all the pending cuts and arguing that the state will receive $10 billion in federal funds that can be used to offset state general fund expenditures. No decision was made today - and it doesn't look great.
