Legislature Must Act for Californians To Receive Additional Unemployment Insurance Benefits and $838.7 Million in Federal Funds

With the state's unemployment rate now above 10 percent, a new CBP report examines the two policy changes the Legislature must adopt to receive federal economic recovery package funding for the unemployed. The policies would allow California's workers to have expanded access to Unemployment Insurance benefits and receive benefits for a longer period of time.
