Foreclosure Proceedings
What is the Beacon of Justice Award?
The National Legal Aid & Defender Association invites you to nominate your law firm for the 2009 NLADA Beacon of Justice Award honoring law firms across the country who have, in partnership with a legal aid program, provided pro bono representation to disadvantaged families in foreclosure proceedings.
If the law firm has provided a signifigant percentage of their total pro bono hours representating foreclosure proceedings, then your law firm is eligible to receive the 2009 Beacon of Justice Award.
The Beacon of Justice Award acknowledges the critical role that pro bono efforts play in ensuring equal access to justice. The National Legal Aid & Defender Association is pleased to recognize law firms that have provided an exemplary commitment to pro bono services to disadvantaged families facing foreclosure proceedings.
