PLI OFFERS FREE CLE
Practising Law Institute (PLI), as part of its ongoing pro bono efforts, offers to legal aid, California IOLTA grantees, and other civil access to justice programs, no-cost access to its archived CLE Now programs, available as streaming audio or video on its website.
While many of PLI's securities, corporate finance, intellectual property and other programs, may not be helpful to those representing low-income clients in civil matters, other programs may be useful to you. For example, the annual U.S. Supreme Court Review program, the annual California MCLE Marathon, with all 6 required subjects, various litigation skills programs, and more, will benefit your low-income civil practice. Go to www.pli.edu and click on the orange CLE Now icon to see a complete list of archived programs currently available.
If you are interested in signing up for this no-cost professional development resource, simply email John Mola, PLI''s Director of California Operations, jmola@pli.edu and provide the name of a contact person who will be responsible for finalizing the contract and providing a roster of the staff you want to have access to the CLE Now programs. If you have questions, email those to John also.
