  • Organization: The California Budget Project

Two updated CBP fact sheets analyze Governor Schwarzenegger's proposal to make deep cuts to publicly supported health coverage programs. The first fact sheet finds that more than 1.9 million Californians could lose access to health coverage under the Governor's proposed cuts to the Medi-Cal Program and a separate proposal to eliminate the Healthy Families Program. The second fact sheet examines the county-level impact of the proposal to eliminate Healthy Families.
