CANHR is pleased to announce the publication of "California Conservatorship Defense - A Guide for Advocates." The Guide is believed to be the first publication devoted exclusively to the representation of probate conservatees faced with massive deprivations of their rights. The issues covered include the ethical implications of representing a person with alleged mental capacity problems, fighting the standard of proof, and ways of limiting a conservator's powers.
