Build Electoral Power for Your Nonprofit Community
As service providers, legal service organizations’ staff have trusted relationships with their clients and can play an important role in educating their constituencies about the democratic process, while also building political strength for their nonprofit. The California Participation Project is a new organization to California that is dedicated to expanding the role of nonprofits in voting and elections. They provide information, resources and tools for 501(c)(3) nonprofits so that they can integrate civic engagement into their on-going work.
