LAAC Board Election in early 2006!
 
LAAC is currently seeking applications from individual staff members at LAAC Member Programs who are interested in serving on the LAAC Board! 
 
LAAC Board Members are able to:
* significantly impact LAAC's priorities and advocacy efforts
* support LAAC's strong stance on the need for additional legal services funding
* participate in statewide efforts to bring high quality, relevant, affordable training to legal services advocates
* reach and support law students interested in legal services
* recognize leaders in our field through the Awards of Merit
* shape the content and focus of the new website for legal services - www.CALegalAdvocates.org.
 
LAAC is currently seeking individuals interested in statewide leadership, advocacy, training and coordination efforts for the 2006 LAAC Board Election.  If elected, Board members serve three-year terms.  Board members meet in-person four times per year, and each Board Member serves on two of LAAC's Committees.
