  • Organization: LAAC
Frye v. Tenderloin Housing Clinic has been scheduled for oral argument before the California Supreme Court for 9:00 AM on Tuesday, January 10th, in San Francisco.

At issue in this case is the question of whether nonprofit corporations that provide legal representation must register with the State Bar of California under Corporations Code section 13406.

The Legal Aid Association of California (LAAC) filed an Amicus Brief in this matter, as did many other public interest programs. LAAC's Brief was filed on 6/23/05.
